Job description:

Contribute to the best of your abilities in the efficient running of the Home and in the creation of the right atmosphere.

Care for residents temporarily sick.

Always show dignity to residents.

Ensure that common areas are properly cleaned and maintained and are adequately heated.

Answer call bells, telephones, doorbell etc. promptly and courteously.

Participate in all staff meetings and in staff training and development.

Complete any other tasks required by the Care Manager & or Deputy Care manage.

Ensure all mandatory training is up to date.

Skills:

Assist with all residents personal care needs.

Ensure their sleeping, living and eating areas are as safe, comfortable and clean as possible.

Assist with their laundry as required.

Assist them with visits outside the home to the GP, hospital To ensure that you adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures.

To ensure wastage does not occur by using resources effectively in the provision of the resident’s laundry needs.
