Ambience Care is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support care homes across the Whitehaven, Cumbria area. This is a flexible agency role, ideal for those seeking regular shifts in a professional and supportive environment.
Job Description:
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care and support to residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and working closely with nursing and care teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Help with mobility and moving patients safely
Support with eating and drinking
Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
Provide emotional and psychological support to patients
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in care areas..
Assist in preparing patients for treatment
Help with maintaining patient records and documentation.
Requirements:

3. RTW Share Code (Non-British)

5. International Passport
6. COS/ Term letter (Non-British)
7. Covid Vaccination Proof
8. Enhanced DBS
9. Training Certificates
10. Picture of yourself (in care uniform preferred)
11. Proof of Address (any utility bill copies or any letter that has your address)
12. Proof of Bank details (bank card/statement or any other letter from the bank that has the sort code & account number with your name)
