Ambience Care Limited is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team in the Hereford area. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of residents during night hours while maintaining a calm and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents throughout the night
Provide reassurance and friendly conversation to residents who may wake during the night
Monitor the building and follow emergency procedures, including assisting with evacuation in the event of a fire
Carry out light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and tidy environment
Assist with simple food preparation tasks (e.g., preparing vegetables for the following day)
Report any concerns, incidents, or changes in residents’ condition to the senior or sleeping staff on duty
Maintain accurate communication and follow all service policies and procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Support Worker (Mental Health experience preferred)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and attentive during night shifts
A caring, responsible, and professional attitude
Required Documents:
Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service
Valid Right to Work in the UK
Updated CV
Mandatory Updated Healthcare Training Certificates
Proof of Address
Proof of National Insurance (NI)
